Selling a Pad, Free Property Ads - How It Works! 

New to the Selling a Pad website? This is a short description of how you can use our site to either sell your property or search for another property for purchase or for rent. There are more features which will become apparent once you are registered but the main details are listed below.

Selling a Pad?

If you want to sell your property, no problem! We are a completely FREE service to any Estate Agent OR Private Seller (updated 02/08/08) - that wishes to sell their property on the Selling a Pad website. You need to register first to be able to advertise. The service is FREE. You must adhere to our Terms and Conditions.

Just complete the registration form and then after being directed to an "Activation Success" screen you may then login to your account immediately. This will enable you to use our registered user features so you can advertise your property for FREE. A note about the registration form: Not all fields are mandatory, but if you do fill in your name, this will not be shown publicly. Only your telephone details are shown if you have filled in these details. If you hide your email address don't worry, our internal messaging system will send you an email from any interested buyers. We wish to protect your privacy!

You may use up to 12 photographs for each listing plus upload video (no more than 5Mb's in size for video). Once you are happy with your property listing you will then need to "Add" it to our system so it is live and available to view. You may edit your listing at anytime and also "Deactivate" it to make changes. You can also "Delete" your listing once it has been sold. 

Buying a Pad?

If you are searching for your next property you are FREE to use our website to locate your new home. When using the search facilities you only have to use the first part of your postcode, for example, NW10 or WC1N or B64 - this is to protect your privacy as much as possible but still allows you to search for another property with distance in mind! You may omit using a postcode altogether but you will be unable to search by distance.

If you wish to shortlist your properties you can use the Ad Clipboard and return to it and review your shortlist! You can take advantage of not only the clipboard facility but you can save your searches under whatever heading you wish to name it.
